Week 36: Family Fun

I have been saving the pictures of our trip to Disneyland for this week but wish i would have done it sooner because I have already forgotten so much about our trip.

Here is Emily on our drive down, she had to sit in the back by herself and I think she got really bored.

First time seeing the castle
Without a doubt the best part of our trip was when the girls would see the characters, they were so excited, it was so fun to watch.
Ariel
Minnie Mouse
Goofy (for some reason Annie didn't want her picture with him)
Meeting Mickey for the 1st time
Mickey Mouse
Minnie at her house
Pluto
Deacon meeting Pluto( I love the look on Annie's face)
Our first day there we spent doing most of the kid rides and things they could go on.  Emily was usually scared to go on all the kid rides because they are in buildings and she couldn't see what it was like or what would happen but Annie will do almost anything. I think overall their favorite place was Toontown because it was so bright and fun and they got to see where all their favorite characters lived.
Annie on Minnie's bed
Mickie's house
Minnie's house
in jail
Mickie's car
Wishing well in Toontown

Our second day there we went to the Princess lunch where we got to have a nice lunch and meet all the Princesses.  It was so fun to see their faces light up each time a different princess would come out.
Princess Aurora
Belle
Cinderella
Snow White (who was not very nice!)
Deacon was so good!
The second day we also went to A Bug's Land which was a lot of fun because the kids could ride everything in it and they were actually fun rides. Here are the kids about to go into the 4d movie in bug's land

I like these next pictures of our way to Disneyland on the second day...for some reason the girls had an attitude about something.
And they really didn't want me to talk to them...

Then they realized I was taking their picture...
So precious.
The end of the 2nd night we went to a parade and it was AWESOME! They had all the character come out on floats and dance and play music it was a lot of fun.
at the parade
Our last day there was kind of rough because we were pretty exhausted and the kids all started to get sick, especially Emily.
sick and cuddling in the stroller
last picture in Disneyland
Leaving Disneyland.
Overall it was such an amazing trip and we are so glad that we took the time to go. We already want to go back and are going to make a point of going fairly often so our kids have memories of going there.
