Annie's Ice Skating Field Trip

At Annie's preschool they go on a field trip once-a-month and this month they got to go ice skating. It was a lot of fun to go and watch her try it out for the first time. She had a blast and I was surprised how good she did.

The kids have been asking for a long time to put up the Christmas tree and this last Saturday we finally did. It was a lot of fun and we put it up while listening to John Denver and the Muppets Christmas, my favorite Christmas music that I listened to every year growing up. Hopefully our kids will like it as much as I do!

Halloween 2013

This year the girls were the Barbie 3 Musketeers with the friend Alyssa. Deacon was a BYU football player. In this picture Maddie is a pumpkin but on actual Halloween she was a BYU cheerleader. The kids all had a lot of fun this year and got a lot of treats!

 

Here is Emily at her Halloween parade at school. She loves school and all te fun things she gets to do. 

First Day of School

Today Emily had her first day of Kindergarten and Annie had her first day of Preschool

 They have been so excited to start and had a great day! We are excited to see how much they grow and learn this year.

*Sweet Maddie*

Maddie is such a sweet, sweet baby. We are so lucky to have her in our family. Everyone loves to play with her and see her sweet smile.

Big boy

We moved deacon to a big boy bed. He doesn't really like it. But we are working on it. 

Lost tooth

Emily lost her first tooth yesterday. It has been loose for awhile and yesterday she and her friend were playing as she accidentally got hit in the mouth with a badmitton racket and knocked it out. At first she was not excited at all about loosing it but now she thinks it is cool.

Week 52: favorite thing

I am finally on the last week after almost 2 years and wanted to end with the same one I started with, their favorite thing to see how different it is. And right now I can safely say their favorite thing is their new little sister! Maddie Paige Telford was born 5/6/13 at 9:22 p.m. She weighed 6 lbs 11 oz and was 19 inches long.  These pictures are all from my phone so they are kind of blurry but I will put more on from the camera soon.

I had been having problems with my blood pressure again for a couple months and when I had gone in for my regular doc appointment it was high enough that they just sent me right over to the hospital to be induced. We had definitely not planned on it that day so we were very surprised and not really ready. But we are definitely glad she is here and doing great. The kids LOVE her and smother her every day. 

Going home. She was so tiny in her carseat. 

She is so sweet and is such a good baby. We are all so happy to have her here.

To compare to last year, i did ask the kids their favorite thing to do outside. And their answers were Emily and Annie both said "play in the tub" which is their new little swimming pool. Deacon would probably say that also or play with any kind of ball. He loves them and is definitely becoming quite the boy.
