week twenty-two: get in the shot — have someone take a photo of you and your child

Here are pictures of us with each one of our kids by themselves...We are usually always taking pictures of just our kids that we are rarely in the pictures, so it will be nice to have these pictures of us with our children.
I love this picture because Deacon looks like a little mini Ben, dressed in the same clothes.
Annie doesn't cooperate when trying to take pictures so both of us had to just take pictures of her smiling at us.
We can't believe how old Emily is getting. She grows up more and more everyday.

week twenty-one: tackling a challenge or trying something new

I wasn't sure what I would put for these pictures because the girls are at ages where they aren't tackling challenges or learning new stuff all that much but they did try something new and that was playing with makeup and putting it on themselves for the first time...they will sometimes get into my makeup and put it on but that they always do in secret since they know they aren't supposed to but Emily picked out a princess makeup kit to buy with her birthday money so here are some pictures of she and Annie going to town. I love Emily's pouty face in every picture and how Annie copies Emily in the pictures.








Deacon has experienced 2 new things recently; getting teeth and sitting up. If you look close in this picture you can see 2 teeth on the bottom.
And here he is sitting up...so cute.
