Week 42: favorite summer treat

Since I'm so far behind that its no longer summer I decided to use the picture I took of them eating donuts together the day we moved to our new house. They love donuts!

Week 41: Water Fun

This year for Deacon and Annie's birthday we decided to combine their birthday parties and have a water party. It was a lot of fun We had a big slip n slide, sprinkler, and little pool with a slide into it. The kids had a blast.

as you can see from this picture, the weather was not ideal.

Overall, it was a great day.

Week 40: with a special family member

We have had so much going on the last couple weeks that I have gotten even further behind, but I am going to finish.

This week is supposed to be with a special family member so for this I decided to put pictures of them with their newest family member, their cousin Ryder! They love him and are always so concerned about him.

I love the look on Annie's face, so serious!

It's always a little scary when Deacon is around Ryder because he likes to poke him and pull at him, so I just included a couple of my latest favorite pictures of him.

Preschool

Emily started her first day of preschool. She was so excited and loved it. I can't believe how fast these last 4 years have gone.

week 39: Family Pet

I thought for this week I was going to have to make up something to take pictures of but then I remembered we had our very first family pet this summer; a grasshopper that Emily named Oscar.  He was a part of our family for probably close to a week before we had to let him go and join back up with his family.  Emily was always so concerned about him, At least when she would remember him. He lived in a baby food jar and would find that he had rolled under the couch all the time or left in the backyard. Needless to say they need a little more practice at having pets.

Week 37: fun with dad

These are all random pictures I have taken with our kids doing something with Ben. He's not in the picture with Emily but I want to have it on here to remember. He set up her camping chair and foot bath for her and then she asked daddy to rub her shoulders and of course he did.


I love this picture of Ben and Annie. She goes so high and wants him to do it over and over so of course he does.

This is one of my favorite pictures of Ben and deacon. He is always the best at getting him to sleep.


Another one of our kids favorite things to do with their dad is go fishing, even though they get bored pretty quick they still love it and hopefully have good memories of going when they get older.

Annie pretty much just sits there and plays with the bait.

They are all so lucky to have him as their daddy!
